Ellen DeGeneres Just Made People’s Choice Awards History
While Blake Lively’s People’s Choice Awards speech may have confused you (though hopefully left you happy somehow) and Kristen Bell’s outfit was an accidental Little Mermaid tribute, Ellen DeGeneres was busy making showbiz history last night.
Ellen has undeniably been responsible for making us laugh and getting us dancing for years now, and all the time she’s been racking up the awards. In fact, last night, though it only would have taken one award to put her over the top, Ellen set the record for most People’s Choice Awards with a whopping 20 awards in total by winning in all three categories she was nominated for (favorite animated movie voice, favorite daytime TV host and favorite comedic collaboration). Wowza!
The three final awards were presented to Ellen all at once by friend, Justin Timberlake.
She also (thankfully) managed to take time afterward to pose with a handful of hunks holding up all of her awards…
Congratulations, Ellen!
