We’re so excited for this news!
Ellen DeGeneres Is Launching Something That Will Make You Want to Dance

As if having Caitlyn Jenner, Malala and Hillary Clinton all stopping by the premiere week of her talk show wasn’t enough, Ellen DeGeneres just revealed some news that will get you on your feet dancing. She’s releasing a line of shoes. Yep, after debuting her lifestyle brand ED by Ellen at the beginning of the summer and recently launching her collab with GapKids the talk show host is taking a dive even further down the design route with casual footwear.
Through a partnership with fashion giant Camuto Group (brands include Jessica Simpson, Tory Burch, BCBGMAXAZRIA and Lucky Brand), Ellen will launch a line of kicks featuring materials like leather, suede, denim, canvas and linen. With that amount of options — on what we’re assuming is a range of styles from suit-worthy high-tops to slip-ons you can rock with your favorite athleisure pieces — there’s sure to be an option for every person looking to walk dance in Ellen’s shoes. Like the clothing she released in her ED line, these sneaks aren’t cheap: the styles reportedly will run you between $80 and $300. But if we can take a cue from Ellen’s style, they’ll be modern, chic stand up to the work-to-wherever wear. In other words, they’re probably totally worth it.
Ellen’s shoe line is set to drop this spring, but if you can’t wait till then to snag some ED pieces make your way to the ED pop-up debuting this NYFW at Bergdorf Goodman through September 22. Fingers crossed she’ll make an appearance rocking some new ED pieces like she did at August’s Teen Choice Awards.
Looking for even more Ellen inspo in your life? The pro interior decorator is launching a home design book in October titled Home. No need to be skeptical about the tips she’s got to offer: the book’s description reveals the comedian has bought and renovated nearly a dozen homes over the last 25 years. What can’t Ellen do?!
