There appears to be a bit of a baby boom happening in Hollywood at the moment. Your favorite OC cast member Ben McKenzie welcomed a baby girl last week and shortly after that, news broke that Adam Levine is expecting his first child. Hopping on board that kiddie train (pun 100% intended) is actress Emilie de Ravin of Once Upon a Time (and Lost).
Emilie took to Twitter to share the exciting news of her baby’s arrival yesterday writing, “Welcome to the big wide world! Vera Audrey de Ravin-Bilitch born March 12th 2016. Couldn’t be happier! So in love with our little girl!” Damn, what a name!
Vera is of Russian descent and is said to mean, “faith.” According to Nameberry, Vera has moved up over three hundred places in the baby name rankings over recent years and only seems to be getting more and more popular. It’s currently the 367th most popular name in the US and the 27th in Sweden.
This is both Emilie and her boyfriend Eric Bilitch’s first child. Major congrats to the new parents!
