You Won’t Believe What Tasty Treat This Dress Is Made Out Of
When it comes to dessert, creative twists on a classic is always fun. This year, UK-based cake designer Emma Jayne created an extreme confection at the Cake International show in London, that, well, took the cake.

Jayne created a cake that resembled a wedding dress inspired by Philippines-based couture gown designer Mak Tumang’s work. And get this: She made the whole thing by hand.

Here is Tumang’s IRL piece for comparison. This is an actual dress and *not* a cake. Needless to say, it’s totally breathtaking.
Somehow Jayne managed to almost pull off that same level of intricate floral detail in confection form. Using a tool called a dragéekiss, which allows decorators to easily attach sprinkles individually, she was able to make the details look like they were actually sewn on. The flowers are edible and have a sugar pearl placed inside of each. The back was equally as impressive.
The designer was at the competition and had to have been stunned to see his vision come to life like this. We know we are.
