How Emma Roberts Is Making Her Met Gala Hair Last All Week
Here’s the thing about award shows: it takes ALL day to get ready for the red carpet. Between the pre-show prep (i.e. ultra expensive manicures, a brow appointment, etc.), the hair, makeup and last-minute alterations, it’s a process, to say the least. So it makes total sense that celebs want to ride that glamour wave for as long as possible. Case in point: this braided updo Emma Roberts is STILL rocking three days after the Met Gala.

Emma showed up to the fashionable NYC event on Monday night (May 2) sporting this intricate updo that falls somewhere between a crown braid and Princess Leia buns. After the party was over, the jet-setting celeb headed straight back to LA. Apparently she was digging her hair so much she kept it in during the cross-country flight the next day (May 3) and flaunted it while the paps took her photo as she was exiting LAX airport.
But wait! She was spotted again just yesterday (May 4) STILL rocking the braid while out on a coffee run. We’re not sure what’s more impressive: that she’s committed to the hairstyle for this long or the fact that it’s stayed intact so well (PS, major props to her stylist on that). Either way, we’re sure of one thing: We’d be doing the exact same thing if we were her.
