Confirmed: Emma Stone Is Starring As Cruella De Vil, and It Will Be Epic

We were all over the rumors of Emma Stone playing one of the scariest Disney villains of all time, and now we have confirmation. Hide your puppies and get ready to pick up your movie tix, because Emma Stone will be playing the cackling, creepy and captivating Cruella De Vil in Disney’s live-action 101 Dalmatians story, this time around deemed Cruella.
The title, which drops the pups and focuses on the villain instead, makes us ponder a few plot possibilities. Perhaps this story is from Cruella’s point of view. Perhaps this is an origin story about how Cruella become so cruel. Perhaps it’s something totally, completely, wildly different that we could never expect even if we pondered for a hundred years. You never know!

The fine folks over at @SGPosters took the liberty of imagining what we might get with Emma Stone in the role of Cruella, and OMG! Chills! Wonderful chills!
No release date has been given yet for Cruella, but you better believe we’ll be all over that the way Ms. De Vil herself would be all over a Dalmatian pup.
