Emma Stone’s Daring BAFTA Red Carpet Look Was Straight Off the Chanel Runway
The Grammys wasn’t the only Sunday night award show. Some of our favorite movie stars were at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the 2017 British Academy Film Awards last night in enviable style on the red carpet. Emma Stone stunned in a daring dress and trouser combo that was snatched right off the runway.
The 28-year-old actress, who won Best Actress for her role in the breakout musical La La Land, wore a Chanel Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2017 collection dress with matching straight-leg trousers. Emma skipped statement earrings and a necklace in order to accentuate the designer gown’s plunging neckline and beaded embellishments. But she didn’t forgo jewels altogether; she went delightfully unconventional with a pearl anklet-accented metallic silver pumps (which was also featured on the runway).
One major difference between the runway look and the red carpet style? Emma went without the waist-cinching silver belt.
Emma rounded out the look with a sleek, half-up hairstyle and kept her makeup natural-looking (save for some sparkle in the inner corner of her eyes) with a rosy-hued lip. Best BAFTA fashion nominee? We think so!
No doubt Emma also has something magnificent planned for this year’s Academy Awards, where she’ll also attend as a Best Actress nominee. Stay tuned to see what she wears when the Oscars air on February 26 on ABC.
