Emma Watson Is Slaying One of the Hardest Haircuts to Pull Off
Baby bangs are no easy feat to pull off. While celebs such as Beyoncé and Krysten Ritter make it look super easy, the truth is, it takes a certain… finesse to get micro-fringe just right. Right out of the gate for 2018, Emma Watson is here to take on that challenge — and she is slaying it.
The newly-minted Disney princess Emma Watson took to Instagram to post about her first read of the year, Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge ($23) for her book club Our Shared Shelf. Still, we couldn’t help but notice something *else* that appeared new for the year, as well: her hair!
The last time we saw the 27-year-old, it was at a photoshoot for The Circle back in June, with her front fringe long enough to sweep back into an elegant updo. Now, it’s barely hitting the middle of her forehead, with piece-y bangs that draw attention to her gorgeous features (those eyes, though!).
The look is one the actress has sported before: Back in 2011, she paired the daring style with a pixie cut she wore cut above her ears.
Honestly, this new hybrid of her long and short locks just might be our favorite yet.
Here’s to taking more chances with our coifs in 2018!
