Etsy’s New IRL Shop in New York Is Geared Toward Millennial Shoppers
Get ready to take your online shopping addiction offline, because Etsy just opened the doors of their very first store at Macy’s Herald Square in New York. They’re currently featuring over 50 products, including jewelry, stationery and housewares. The best part? If you don’t find anything you need, the entire store’s collection will be refreshed every two months with a new theme and new makers. In honor of their first location, all the items are New York-themed and feature mostly NYC makers, all of whom have also created exclusive items for Macy’s.
The pop-up Etsy store is located in the lower level of Macy’s as part of a new section called One Below that specifically caters to the millennial crowd. While it’s not clear how long Etsy’s pop-up will be there, one thing is for sure: Etsy is doing awesome things to lead the way in creative entrepreneurship.
If you can’t make it to NYC anytime soon, don’t fret! We have a feeling this store will be around for a while (and hopefully expand to other maker-filled cities). In the meantime, try to console yourself with these lists of awesome beauty Etsy shops and the best Etsy engagement rings.
If you’re lucky enough to check out Etsy’s new store, pretty please share your snaps with us @BritandCo using the hashtags #britstagram and #iamcreative.
