Eva Longoria Just Launched Some Spanx-Like Denim
If you’re like Eva Longoria, you eschew the no-white after Labor Day rule and wear the snowy color all year round. It’s actually the actress and fashion designer’s love for white jeans that inspired her approach to the denim in the spring collection of her eponymous line, Eva Longoria Collection.

Unlike the thinner fabrics that are used in most denim lines, Longoria used a four-way stretch denim that she says will flatter just about any shape or figure (especially women who love white jeans as much as she does). “My denim acts like a Spanx. It sucks everything in in the right places,” she said in an interview with People Magazine.
But don’t worry if you’re not big on white — her pants come in several other colorways, including tomato red and classic blue. Also, the best part is how size-inclusive the line is. Her pants are available in size zero to 18 and retail at $89 a pair.
Hot off the heels of her partnership with The Limited last year, the Desperate Housewives alum released her own line that she says is more casual, and way more accessible to consumers. “What’s different now is this is all e-commerce, which is the trend fashion is going toward right now,” she said in the interview. That’s right. Her entire line, including those forgiving shapewear-like denim, is just a click away.
