We already thought Evan Rachel Wood was the coolest (did you SEE her tux at the Golden Globes?), but the Westworld actress has just bumped her edgy vibe up a notch further. It’s a feat that, frankly, we didn’t know was even possible after seeing the stunning Bowie photos she took for Elle Canada, and yet here she is, debuting a hip new shade of blue on her piece-y chin-length ‘do.
Her new hue reflected the weather Wood was subject to while “Driving through the East Coast storms. #newblue, “she wrote.
It’s a shade the star’s former character in Thirteen, Tracy (who the actress paid homage to earlier this week), would have appreciated thanks to her wild and rebellious streak.
With no sign of her new look on her hairstylist, Peter Butler’s page, there’s no telling if this was his handiwork or Wood’s own, but it’s the perfect eye-catching update for festival season.
Perhaps we’ll see it onstage this summer with her band Rebel and a Basketcase?
