Halo Top
The Prank: Our favorite low-calorie ice cream introduced edible face masks in Birthday Cake, Mint Chip, and Strawberry. Celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta even got in on the fun with a how-to. "Blend this into the skin using circular motions," he advised. "You can see all the sprinkles really doing the exfoliating."
The Prank: Not sure if your tulips need watering or more sun? There's a Google for that. "Thanks to great advancements in artificial intelligence, Google Home is now able to understand tulips, allowing translation between Tulipish and dozens of human languages," according to Google. "Tulips now have a way to indicate to humans that they’re in need of water, light or simply some more space.
Function of Beauty
The Prank: The customizable shampoo and conditioner brand played with our unicorn dreams by debuting a Unicorn Shampoo. "A magical blend of sparkling fairy dust, mermaid scales, pixie glitter, and ethically-sourced cotton candy extract, this one-of-a-kind formula is individually handcrafted in Narnia to give your hair mythical levels of rainbow-infused color and shine," the website reads.
Fresh Direct
The Prank: Oat Milk has some competition, if Fresh Direct's "latest innovation" is to be believed. The grocery delivery service announced its cauliflower milk AKA caulk. And the benefits are countless: anti-inflammatory, hormone balancing, cavity crushing, wrinkle reducing, stomach soothing, and more.
REEF
The Prank: Need easy access to your flops and hops? REEF dreamed up the Fanning Pack. "Named after accomplished pro surfer Mick Fanning, the Fanning Pack is, well, a fanny pack designed to transport and clean your fave Fanning Sandal for all of your beachside adventures," according to the company, noting that it comes with a bottle opener and pocket for those empty caps.
Huda Beauty
The Prank: Huda Katan launched Pawfect Beauty, a collection of cosmetics for pets, on April 1. Her first product? Coco Lash, falsies in honor of Kattan's Pomeranian. "These luscious full-fringe, synthetic lashes lashes are suitable for all breeds and any occasion. Designed for animals of all shapes and sizes, the super flexible band will mold to any eye-shape quickly and comfortably," said the brand.
Kevita
The Prank: Our loves of kombucha and baths reach an all-time peak with KeVita Lavender Melon Tub Suds Live Probiotic Bubble Bath. Because, according to the company, sometimes "you can’t choose between bath time and booch time."
Sugarfina
The Prank: Enjoy your bubbles inside and out with a Champagne Gummy Bear Facial Mask. According to Sugarfina, the candy boutique behind the sweet mask, "Champagne contains resveratrol, a potent plant compound found in grapes that is said to be the antioxidant behind clear-toned skin and eternal youth. And gummy bears contain collagen, an essential protein that plumps the skin and fights fine lines." Sounds like a win-win.
SodaStream
The Prank: We all have that one friend who has a little too much... gas SodaStream is launching SodaStreamMe, a portable bottle that allows users to carbonate their own water by simply breathing into the cap, releasing excess CO2 and turning burps into bubbles. Says the brand, "This new product was based on research about the excess amount of CO2 in space from Astronaut Scott Kelly."
Nissin Cup Noodles
The Prank: Your favorite anytime snack just got an audio upgrade with the HyperX Cup MIX-Ins, new headphones designed to create a 360 sensory experience for eating your Cup Noodles. According to the brand, "the headphones cancel out all Cup Noodle slurping sounds while still delivering crystal-clear sound quality. Plus, the patent-pending Noodlette™ ear pads woven together with noodle fibers deliver the silky soft caress of ramen noodles for your ears."
SmileDirectClub
The Prank: Perfect teeth shouldn't be limited to just humans. SmileDirectClub's new canine aligners help keep your four-legged BFF's smile Instagram-ready. Also launching: keto-friendly, gluten-free, zero-calorie flavored aligners (menu include thin-crust pizza, Nashville hot chicken, coffee, brisket, and lobster) and Bluetooth aligners (listen to music and take calls all while straightening your teeth).
RetailMeNot
The Prank: Extreme shopping deserves its own celebration in the form of Dealchella, RetailMeNot's music festival for savvy buyers who love to save money. The festival includes all-day happy hours, flash sales on flash tattoos, unlimited massages in the "Deals and Feels" cabana, two for one tacos, surprise guests, and more. Headliners include Taylor Thrift, Laga BOGO, and Salena Gomez.
Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants
The Prank: The hotel brand has released it's Culinary + Cocktail Trend Forecast, showcasing trends that were "meticulously uncovered through extensive and targeted Google searching by Kimpton interns, coupled with interviews of billions of influential chefs and hours of Instagram scrolling." These include coffee grounds on toast (move over, avocado toast), keto pasta (made from real butter), edible house plants, and salt water cocktails (sources from the Pacific Ocean). Yasso
The Prank: We sort of wish this one was true. "We took creamy pickle-flavored frozen Greek yogurt, added a peanut butter swirl and topped it off by mixing in pickle bits throughout each bar," the brand said via Instagram. "Together the flavors create a creamy and tangy taste sure to satisfy your cravings!"
