Everything from the Ban.do Collection Is Going to Be on Your Christmas List
Do you know Ban.do? If you don’t, it’s time to get acquainted. The LA-based brand is basically the grown-up version of your ’90s Lisa Frank obsession. Packed to the brim with quirky accessories, bold colors and patterns and cheeky slogans, the brand has one mission: FUN. In fact, that three-letter word has pretty much become its official slogan. While things like stationery, hair accessories and tech goodies have been in their repertoire for awhile, they made the leap into fashion just last year. And since then, the collections keep getting better and better. Case in point: their newest apparel additions which dropped yesterday.
The new threads offer a fresh take on Ban.do’s initial release of graphic tees and sweatshirts. The coveted “I am very busy” sweatshirt now comes in a festive Christmas tree green. There’s also a new addition to the crewneck gang: a maroon number with “strong female lead” written across the chest in charming type.
One major change for the brand and this release specifically is the introduction of third party pieces. Now, not everything in the shop is designed solely by the Ban.do team. To complement their original pieces, they’ve added items from trendy makers like Dusen Dusen and printmaking genius Karen Mabon.
A couple of incredible finds from the new Ban.do collective: massive pom-pom earrings by Tuleste, light-up sneakers by Party Store and a color-blocked raincoat by Golden Ponies. The new arrivals can all be seen and ogled over here.
