Should You Wear a Dress to Work Out?
In recent years, athleisure has emerged as an easy way to go from the gym to work or from yoga to brunch, while still looking as presentable as possible. But one of our favorite activewear brands, Outdoor Voices, is turning athleisure on its head, releasing a tailored dress designed for exercise and whatever life throws your way afterward.
The brand just dropped its first-ever Exercise Dress ($98), a tank dress in its signature Lightspeed material with a full-coverage leotard liner made of UnderAir, a breathable Italian fabric. All of this means the piece wicks sweat and features four-way stretch, so there’s no bunching, restricting, or sliding as you move about.
Wearing a dress might sound a little crazy at first, but given that golfers and tennis players alike get their sweat on in skirts and skorts, there’s no reason why pants are a requirement to crush it in the gym.
The Exercise Dress is available in navy, black, dahlia pink, and printed ink at all Outdoor Voices stores and online at OutdoorVoices.com.
