Send Photos from Your DSLR to Your Phone Seamlessly
If you still use a point-and-shoot or a DSLR camera in addition to your smartphone, when was the last time you actually plugged in your camera and downloaded all your photos? (If you need some photo inspiration, we’ve got that for you right here.) It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? Well, now you can get access to all those photos immediately thanks to the new Mobi SD card from EyeFi.
EyeFi—the SD card that has built-in Wi-fi—has been around for awhile, but until now you’ve only been able to upload from your camera to your computer over a wireless network. Now, the EyeFi Mobi can sync directly with an app on your smartphone or tablet (or your computer). No wireless network required when sending to your phone.
When you open the app, you’ll be able to preview all the photos available on the SD card and decide which ones you want to import to your device. Then you can filter, add text, and share to your favorite network all directly from your phone. Just keep in mind that photos from a camera can be quite large. You might want to ditch some of those outdated apps before you start loading up your phone with pics.
We’ve just freed your photos from your camera! Do you still use a “real” camera? Will you be adding an EyeFi Mobi to your wishlist?
