The Instagram Fall Porch Trend We Can’t Get Enough Of

The Instagram Fall Porch Trend We Can’t Get Enough Of

Ah, the joys of fall. The changing leaves, the moody decor, and all the excuses to whip out cozy sweaters — we’re obsessed with it all! And we’re not alone: One scroll through Instagram and you’ll find friends and influencers alike posting nods to autumn non-stop. We’re channeling this excitement by rounding up trends for the season inspiring us now. First up? The outdoor look that’s so gourd, its been hash-tagged thousands of times (and more!) — cascading fall porch decor. Think mums, pumpkins, and, of course, gourds scattered along multi-level steps in one appealing setup. Scroll below to see the gorgeousness we’re talking about!

.

1. @dashlifestyles: Tiny additions line these steps for one photo-worthy arrangement. We’re especially loving the metallic accents here.

2. @unplugsoycandles: When a candle company tries their hand at autumn decor, you know it has to be good. Their trick for this project? Repurposing their jumbo jar stone candles as planters.

3. @littlefrontporchfarm: Those mini-pumpkins you love make the perfect addition. Group them in little trios for a more dramatic display.

Happy hump day friends!! It’s finally cooling off here. I made our favorite Tuscan Potato Soup last night and it felt like fall! I’m working on putting Halloween porch together. I made a GIANT Witch Halloween sign yesterday and I have the tutorial on the blog today :) 🧡 . . I’ve been making giant signs for years! I love that they are inexpensive and quick to make. For just a few dollars you can have a giant sign for any occasion. 🧡 . . Do you like spooky Halloween or cute Halloween? I’m in the cute camp! 🧡 . . #halloweendecor #witchsign #halloweensign #halloweentutorial #giantsign #fallporch #halloweenporch ————->. https://tatertotsandjello.com/make-a-giant-witch-halloween-sign/

4. @tatertotsandjellow: PSA: Cornstalks actually can look stylish. This lineup is proof of just that.

5. @juliaengle: This one is festive, fresh, and uses all the harvest colors. Paired with a southern-style white porch, everything just pops.

6. @frenchbydesign: If you can look beyond that stunning, cheery barn door, you’ll find a sea of pink mums waiting to welcome you home with open arms.

7. @gina.marie.home: We’re lovin’ this lush ensemble. The oversized greenery really makes an impact on this two-stepped entry.

8. @paigewinnphoto: Hello, violets! These flower bunches really bring the trend home.

9. @steele.eclectic.farmhouse: We have a bit of an ombré sitch happening here. By working with warm hues only, you’re left with one color-tastic scene.

10. @shirinaskari: Layering pots at different levels creates a cascading effect — even if you only have one step to work with!

11. @ourlittlefoxhouse: When you don’t have any dimension, it’s still possible to give your entry a staggered feel. Simply layer outdoor mats with decorative accents (like these lanterns) for a multi-faceted look.

12. @cindimc.ivoryhomedesign: Excuse us over here while we pretend this home is ours.
