Just when we thought we couldn't be more excited for fall, DSW's owned brand Crown Vintage just dropped a collab with Nancy Drew, Nerve, and Scream Queens star Emma Roberts. With a mission that's all about creativity and curiosity, we are head over heels for both Crown Vintage and this collection, especially since it just so happens to feature our favorite fall shoe trends.
“I gravitated to Crown Vintage brand because it embraces and encourages individuality,” Roberts says in the press release. “I live in the shoes, everything from loafers to boots. They’re so comfy and chic, and I love a place where I can get one of everything.”
Aside from being cute *and* comfortable, our favorite thing about Roberts' favorite styles is that they're all under $150, which is a great option for Frugal Girl Fall. The versatile mix of loafers, boots, and more will go with all your fall outfits and cut down on the amount of shoes you need to last you until spring.
Loafers are a great addition to any outfit because they'll dress up a simple tee and jeans, or add a polished finishing touch to a dress. Our favorite 'fit to wear with a pair of penny loafers? Jeans, a cozy sweater, and tortoiseshell glasses. Classy, cute, and puts us in the mood to walk around our favorite bookstore.
Combat boots are a fall staple in our book, and getting a pair in a neutral color allows you to wear a monochromatic outfit with a variety of textures, or to finish off a multicolored outfit without adding another shade to the mix. Either way, these boots will make any outfit feel just like fall.
Knee-high boots are one of our favorite sophisticated shoe picks, and grabbing a pair with a straight edge, a sleek material, and with a two-toned heel makes them feel more chic than Western. Wear over a pair of jeans or with a dress.

We'll be wearing clogs for the foreseeable future, and we love the fact that this pair is two-toned with a black leather and a brown heel. That way, you can wear them with double the outfits. Wear without socks, or break out a fuzzy pair once the weather gets cold.
This Emma Roberts outfit is the perfect example of how to mix and match colors with a neutral boot. Keeping your base neutral (with the shoes and the dress) lets you accessorize with all kinds of colors, textures, and prints with a scarf and jewelry.
