Fitbit’s New Collab Uses YOUR DNA to Create Your Perfect Diet
We’ve made our New Year’s resolutions, and for the most part we are looking forward to a good 2017, and hopefully, actually following through with our goals this year. For many of us, that resolution is to eat better — something that’s about to get a lot easier, with the brand new collaboration Fitbit announced today at CES 2017.
Habit, a personalized nutrition system, uses a test kit that analyzes biomarkers in your DNA to discover what your body craves (hint: It’s probably not chocolate ice cream with extra fudge). The company just announced a collaboration with Fitbit so that your fitness tracker or Aria scale can share your body weight, body fat percentage and calories burned with Habit. This partnership allows you to get more involved in your nutrition by letting you have a more in-depth look at what your body needs.
Habit has just announced the launch of their at-home test kits, currently only available for those living in the Bay Area. Those outside the SF area will be added to a waitlist and notified when test kits are available.
Wowee! We knew we could count on tech to make our New Year’s resolutions a breeze.
