This Flash Mob Wedding Is the Coolest Thing You’ll See Today
If you’re planning a wedding, we know it’s easy for the details of who-what-where to consume your brain cells, post-it notes and planner pages. But when the minutiae of wedding planning gets in the way of what your wedding day should really be about — celebrating your love and union — it’s time for a wake-up call.
According to an interview with 11alive, Brian and Christina discovered that planning a ceremony and reception was too expensive and stressful. “It took away from the purpose and excitement of being married,” he said. “The marriage is what’s important, so I wanted to focus on [that].” Talk about husband of the year.
Their wedding happens in a flash, pun intended. The photographer brings Christina to the opposite side of the Christmas tree, where she’s greeted by her father, who whispers in her ear, “You’re getting married today.” And as any bride-to-be who’s verklempt with shock and emotion, she starts shedding tears, natch.
Meanwhile, as she composes herself to walk down the aisle, a mob of their family and friends (wedding party included) start to flood out of the mall doors and form a human aisle. The rest is happily-ever-after history.
