7 Must-Haves for the Ultimate Indoor Garden Brunch Party
Here in San Francisco, summer days can be a toss-up — some days are beautiful, others are chilly with a sky full of dark clouds. To plan for the unpredictable weather (or to escape from the heat), indoor parties are where it’s at!
We teamed up with Talenti to show you eight easy ways to throw the ultimate indoor garden brunch party like the grown up that you are. Being an adult has never been easier or more fun! Read on!
Beautiful garden brunch, here we come!
1. Floral and Citrus Table Runner
First up is laying down branches and blooms the length of your table to create an easy table runner. Take advantage of delicious summer fruit and arrange citrus halves with the flowers and leaves to add more colors, textures, and shapes. Plus, if your guests are in need of a citrus snack during brunch, they can just pick one out from the runner.
2.An Assortment of Talenti Gelatos and Sorbettos
What’s brunch without the tastiest dishes? We’re starting with dessert! Talenti gelatos and sorbettos make refreshing desserts that are perfectly suited for a garden party. Talenti products are made with the best ingredients around the world and simply *burst* with flavor! For this spread, we went with Mediterranean Mint Gelato, Roman Raspberry Sorbetto, Sicilian Pistachio Gelato, and Blood Orange Sorbetto. Yum!
3.Blood Orange Sorbetto Mimosas
While we’re on the subject of sweet treats, we created a blood orange sorbetto mimosa — our unique spin on the standard brunch cocktail. I’m not a huge drinker, but I am a fan of this drink. Just scoop one or two scoops of Talenti Blood Orange Sorbetto in a glass and top with Prosecco. This twist on the mimosa also works well with Talenti Alphonso Mango Sorbetto and Talenti Roman Raspberry Sorbetto too!
4.A Savory Vegetarian Quiche
Quiches are one of those dishes that look fancy, but are super simple to make. Check out these recipes for some savory inspiration!
5.A Seasonal Vegetable Galette
Galettes, or rustic tarts with hand-folded edges, are yet another way to adult at your next party. They’re stunning but also quick and easy. Roll out a premade pie crust and brush pesto over it. Add a light layer of cheese and then layer with slices of heirloom tomatoes, leaving an inch border. Fold the pie crust edges over the tomatoes and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 20 minutes. Trust me, this dish will get you compliments.
6.The Cutest Flower Table Settings
Before your friends dig into all the delicious food, they’re going to ooh and ahh at these adorable table settings. Place a couple small blooms on each plate along with a napkin folded like a rose. Epic party planning is all about the details. :)
7.A Floral Painted Backdrop (That Doubles As a Photobooth)
We all know that the phrase, “pics or it doesn’t count,” is kind of a reality. Paint florals on a roll of paper to hang behind your table as a backdrop. When your friends are done eating, use it as a selfie wall!
Time for brunch!
I like to bookend my meals with dessert, please!
