Forget Pink Because Starbucks’ “Purple Drink” Is the New Tasty Trend
When Starbucks’ “Pink Drink” hit the scene (and pretty much everyone’s Instagram feed), we thought nothing could be tastier or prettier. But now, as we’ve been sipping happily on our Key Lime and Caramel Waffle Cone Frappucinos, genius menu hackers have given us the equally tasty, equally pretty “purple drink.”
While the “pink drink” is a twist on the Strawberry Açai Refresher, the purple version is a take on the Berry Hibiscus Refresher, and it certainly does look as refreshing as it tastes. But this isn’t an item you’re going to see on the menu. You’ll need to know the deets on how the barista can make up this treat for you. And, yep, we have that precious pretty-purple-drink-making info for you!
Just as the pink deliciousness did, the purple one swaps in soy milk in place of normal water and adds passion iced tea, vanilla syrup and a handful of blackberries, ending with a pic-worthy “purple drink.”
With a gorgeous lavender-like shade, berries bobbing on top and on-point manicured hands holding each cup, it’s no wonder that this colorful concoction is so popular.
