Free People’s New Wedding Line Is Every Boho Bride’s Dream Come True
If Coachella took the human form of a summer bride, it would probably look a whole lot like Free People’s new bridal collection. Yes, you read that right. Your favorite boho label can now also dress you for your wedding day. Prepare yourself for a lot of crocheted detailing, a flowy jumpsuit and even a bridal body chain.
The line, aptly labeled FPEverAfter, officially went on sale today, releasing 15 dresses and a slew of accessories. Some gowns have been created by other designers like Odylyne the Ceremony, some are Free People exclusives and a few are a collaboration between the brand and other indie bridal labels (like Australian jem Grace Loves Lace).
As far as the looks go, they’re pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a Free People bridal line — long, billowy sleeves, slim silhouettes and separates galore. If you’re planning a beachside or backyard affair, these pieces will most certainly fit the bill. In regards to the price point, it’s surprisingly reasonable. Unlike its sister company, BDHLN where a dress will typically set you back around $2,000, the FP pieces fall mostly around the $1,000 mark. However, there are definitely a few dresses you’ll have to splurge for, like the Lillian Gown and Lady Wren Gown.
If you’re walking down the aisle this summer and want to rep some Free People while you do it, we suggest snagging your favorite style ASAP, because we’re getting the feeling they’re about to be on Ebay for double the price.
