The company now has a headquarters in SoHo, where you can create your own custom product line in a one-on-one appointment. The high-tech brand was founded by cosmetic scientists and MIT engineers to meet all your hair care needs. Instead of targeting a single hair concern (such as, say, color protection or anti-frizz), customers can simply take a quiz at an interactive digital interface to highlight their biggest hair wants and needs and focus on their specific hair type and goals.
From there, the chemists at Function of Beauty will use an algorithm with a unique, scientific formulation that will give you a great hair day — every. single. day.
Starting NOW, you can set up an appointment online to visit the brand’s space at 355 W Broadway (between Broome + Grand Streets) from Thursday to Sunday between 12 and 4pm, and, for just $36, you’ll walk away with an 8oz. set of shampoo and conditioner. You’ll also receive a regimen card, filled with all the info you need to keep your tresses in tip-top shape.
