Sugar Cookie Bar Ingredients:
– 2 sticks salted butter
– 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 4 eggs
– 1 1/2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
– 4 cups all-purpose flour
– 3/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
Frosting Ingredients:
– 2 sticks salted butter
– 7 cups powdered sugar
– 3/4 cup heavy cream
– 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
– blue food coloring
– rainbow sprinkles, for topping
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a mixer, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix. Add flour and stir in rainbow sprinkles. Spread the batter into your baking pan and use a spatula to spread evenly.
2. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
3. In a mixer, combine butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until smooth and fluffy. Add blue food coloring and mix. Frost sugar cookie bars and top with sprinkles. Slice into squares and enjoy!
