This summer, it’s all about crazy adventures — The Fall Guy! A Quiet Place: Day One! — and there is NO wilder adventure than Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. The film, which just premiered at Cannes, stars Anya Taylor-Joy as the titular character (played by Charlize Theron in 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road), who’s fighting to get home after she’s abducted as a child. And Furiosa's journey to find her family quickly becomes a fight for her own survival when her group crosses paths with the Immortan Joe.

What is Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga about?

According to the official synopsis, Furiosa is taken from her home and forced to join the Warlord Dementus and his Biker Horde. "Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home."
