Gal Gadot Is the Ultimate Badass Babe in the New Wonder Woman Trailer
One of our all-time fave comic book heroines is coming to the big screen later this summer, and we cannot WAIT. The brand new Wonder Woman flick will (finally!) be released in just a few short months, and, as if we weren’t excited enough by the teaser we got way back in January of last year, its newly released full-length trailer is here to inspire the badass babe in us all.
.
The 2:30 clip features Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot in the title role and — trust us when we say — you WON’T be disappointed.
The vid starts off with a young Diana Prince (the Clark Kent to our heroine’s Superman) training in her native Amazonian land and being pushed to her limits at the request of her aunt, played by Robin Wright. Girl power! Then there’s Gadot’s hunky costar, Chris Pine.
Pine plays American WWI pilot Steve Trevor, who finds himself on Prince’s island following a plane crash. Before long, the duo is off to London to stop the “war to end all wars” from taking place. Eep!
Uttering the trailer’s final proclamation of “I am Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolyta. In the name of all that is good, your wrath upon this world is over,” Gadot leaves us wanting more — much more.
Seriously, HOW are we supposed to (calmly) wait for the June 2 release?
