George Clooney’s dad has already gushed about one particularly adorable fact about his new twin grandchildren, Ella and Alexander (OMG those names are so incredibly cute!), and now the proud grandpa has something super sweet to say about his daughter-in-law Amal’s mothering ways.
“Amal will be — and already is — a magnificent mother,” Nick Clooney told Good Morning Britain from his home in Kentucky, where he’s patiently waiting to meet the London-born babies. “I’m constantly amazed by her. She is an incredible woman.”
He added, “George certainly married up!” Oh my!
“George will be an absolutely wonderful father,” he continued. And when it comes to diaper duty, Grandpa Clooney has no doubt that the new dad will be ready and willing to take on his fair share, saying with a laugh, “[George] will be hands-on entirely. And he will do it with humor and with joy.” Let’s hope so, because, TBH, it’s not the most pleasant part of parenting.
While 56-year-old George and 39-year-old Amal have been relatively private about their growing brood, it’s pretty darn obvious that Grandpa Clooney is bursting with pride. We can’t wait to hear what he has to say about the new family of four when he finally gets to see them in person.
