Get the Look: 17 Celebrity Dudes With Style You Can Shop
Throughout awards season — and life in general — the ladies are always asked “Who are you wearing?” which we eventually turn into “get the looks”, aka shoppable style roundups for gals. Heads up, world: Guys like to look good too. We’ve got some major fashion crushes (and maybe real crushes) on a handful of superstar men, and since they’re never going to be in our lives, the next best thing is to have the bro next door dress like ’em. Shop ’til your credit card stops for some of our favorite famous men’s looks below. Just make sure you don’t forget to leave room on your card for the underwear.
1. ASOS Quilted Bomber Jacket ($89): Throw on this burgundy zip-up, similar to the (more than likely super expensive) one Kanye West rocked to push your confidence through the roof. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
2. Cotton On Denim Banded Collar Shirt ($30): If you’re going for the heartthrob look, take a cue from Zac Efron and button up a pec + ab-fitting denim short-sleeve shirt. Then go bust a move a la Hairspray or High School Musical because nothing says bro like a dance break ;) (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty)
3. Uniqlo Stretch Slim Fit Tapered Color Jeans ($40): Blue jeans can get a little stale, so liven up your denim game with some color. Style your burgundy pair with some boots and a detailed button-down a la Fantastic Four‘s Michael B. Jordan and you’ll be turning heads left and right for that forward-thinking style. 4. Zara Luxury Cotton T-Shirt ($18): If your closet has been looking for a tan tee, look no further than one similar to Raúl Castillo’s. If this loose crewneck shirt is feeling a little too open around the collar, throw on the perfect accessory: a man scarf. (Photo via Rachel Murray/Getty)
5. Topman Blue Short Sleeve Shirt ($45): If Ryan Gosling wears a baby blue button-up, we’ll wear a baby blue button-up. He obviously knows a thing or two about style — he snagged Eva Mendes, after all. (Photo via Le Segretain/Getty)
6. Levi’s The Slim Trucker Jacket ($128): While Pharrell’s jean on jean combo makes us happy, some guys aren’t as confident about pulling off the double denim look. So stick with what you know and pair this fitted, light-washed jacket with some khakis. And feel free to add your own little DIY adornment. You may just be mistaken for a style blogger, who knows. 7. Gap Lived-In Solid Henley ($30): If you’re headed to a day at the park or just roaming the city, follow in the footsteps of Jane the Virgin‘s Justin Baldoni and throw on a fitted henley. Match the shirt’s color to your eyes to really make the look pop. (Photo via Rachel Murray/Getty)
8. 21MEN Colorblocked Cotton Tee ($10): Colorblock action is all it takes to stand out among your group of guys. Pattern yourself after Thor‘s Idris Elba and all your guys will soon be looking to you for fashion advice. (Photo via Taylor Hill/Getty)
9. American Eagle Outfitters Baja Hoodie ($70): Keep warm in a tribal-inspired sweater (sorry Adam, we couldn’t find your exact hoodie) and turn on the charm to ensure all the ladies (or guys) think you are as sweet as sugar. Or at least that you look the part ;) (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty)
The Semi-Casual Bro Look
10. 21MEN Classic Fit Dotted Denim Shirt ($25): Not only are polka dots having a moment in menswear — just like Jussie Smollett’s show, Empire — but if you pair this button-down appropriately with some light-wash jeans, you’ll be guaranteed to have a fashion moment that could include some romance as well. (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty)
11. Banana Republic Heritage Peacoat Sweater ($160): Though we are in love with Ryan Reynolds’ leading lady (and baby we haven’t met), there’s room in our hearts to show his style some love too. Pick up a lightweight but professional-looking peacoat and you’ll never feel the burden of wearing a blazer again. (Photo via Tim P. Whitby/Getty)
12. Mango Double-Breasted Cardigan ($80): Yes, Justin Timberlake looks great in a suit and tie, but he also brings his A-game to less formal wear too. Suit up in a cardigan and you’ll be ready to keep warm while looking good no matter what season you’re living in. (Photo via Andreas Rentz/Getty)
13. Gap Vintage Canvas Bomber Jacket ($98): Cardigans are nice, but bombers are better. Dress up the zip-up in the same way How to Get Away With Murder‘s Jack Falahee did with a patterned collar to bring the jacket to life. (Photo via Rich Polk/Getty)
14. 21MEN Windowpane Print Collared Shirt ($20): Step outside your plaid comfort zone with this altered take on the bro classic courtesy of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s Ki Hong Lee. Complete the look with a complementary jacket that can take you from dinner to the bar. (Photo via Paul Marotta/Getty)
The Dressy Bro Look
15. Acne Studios Isherwood Print Terazzo Button Down ($300): Though Zayn Malik left us with half a heart last week when he announced his departure from One Direction — bros know about this life-altering news, right? — that doesn’t change his fashion-forward looks (did someone say man bun?). If this kaleidoscopic shirt is a *little* too much for your credit card statement, try a more budget-friendly option with the Over Clothing Terrazzo Tshirt ($32) to fulfill those boyband daydreams of yours. We know you have ’em. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
16. H&M Linen Blazer + Suit Pants ($129 + $60): If you’ve got a gala or work function to attend and suits aren’t your favorite to wear, look to John Legend as your stylist for the evening. Suit up in this linen blue two-piece to stay cool while looking suave until the early morning hours. (Photo via Charley Gallay/Getty)
17. Brooks Brothers Solid Knit Tie ($40): Sometimes all a look takes to get it to the next level is a decent tie. Go for the full-on contrast and pick out a skinny tie like Alfred Enoch’s and you’ll be murdering the fashion scene. (Photo via Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty)
