18 On-Trend Ways to Nail Emmys 2015 Style
Sure, it’s fun to watch all those fab frocks (and suits) make their way down the red carpet, but knowing that Claire Danes’ dress was a Prada creation or Kerry Washington snagged her mixed-media gown straight from the Marc Jacobs runway — we’re talking Spring 2016, people — might invoke some wardrobe envy. You might not have a stylist on speed dial or the paycheck to support couture duds, but that certainly can’t stop you from nabbing a bit of that chic celeb style. From statement steppers to color block getups, here’s how to nail Emmys 2015 glamour IRL.
1. Clover Canyon Autumn Lilies Neoprene Skirt ($235): We loved how Judith Light opted out of the standard dress and rocked this bold, bright high-waist maxi and silk shirt combo instead. Spice up your nine-to-five rotation with a similar style and get ready to turn some heads. (Photo via Albert E. Rodriguez/Getty)
2. Topshop Poppy Double Collar Blazer ($65): Tatiana Maslany isn’t afraid of a little post-Labor Day white. The Orphan Black actress stepped out in a polished, yet oh-so-daring cream-colored suit and sleek bun. (Photo via Albert E. Rodriguez/Getty)
3. Front Row Shop Strapless Jumpsuit ($65): It’s always refreshing to see celebs mix things up, so we were definitely feelin’ Sophie Turner’s strapless jumpsuit. Rock your own during the work week with a button-down shirt and killer heels. (Photo via Albert E. Rodriguez/Getty)
4. French Connection Lula Colour Block Dress ($168): Orange Is the New Black actress Danielle Brooks lit up the red carpet with both her confidence and flowy eye-catching frock. This color block number packs plenty of punch like Brooks’ own ensemble, but with a more contemporary, everyday edge. (Photo via Mark Davis/Getty)
5. ASOS Hot Spell Faux Fur Heeled Sandals ($61): Furry shoes and quilted fabric added a softness to Maisie Williams’ structured pink dress. Do the same to your night-out look — while adding a major zing — with these electric steppers. (Photo via Albert E. Rodriguez/Getty)
6. Diane von Furstenberg Aubrey Chain Collar Silk Sleeveless Top ($248): Claire Danes totally killed it in this shimmery purple number (we’ll take five, please). While Prada might be a little out of our price range, this chain-linked top packs the same modern appeal. (Photo via Albert E. Rodriguez/Getty)
