Get the Look of Jamie Chung’s Beachy Chic Kitchen
Actress Jamie Chung might play a fairy-tale role in Once Upon Time, but she definitely worked some real-life magic renovating her boho-chic living room and tiny kitchen. Jamie figured out how to maintain the kitchen’s mid-century elements while updating the space into a bright and modern cooking/dining space. She added glass cabinet doors to open up the space and mounted storage right on the countertops so she could hide ugly appliances like the toaster and microwave. Check out Jamie’s gorg kitchen on PopSugar, and then scroll down to see how to get the same chic look in your kitchen.
Jamie said the first update she made to the kitchen was to add open shelving, and she instantly fell in love with the open, airy feel it gave the kitchen. She told PopSugar that keeping them looking gorgeous was a “cinch” and that she had so much fun showcasing favorite dishes, bowls, pottery and decor pieces.
Get the same California-beach style in your kitchen with a cool pastel blue color palette and accent with marble, wood and copper. Jamie’s kitchen has the coolest blue tiled floor, but you can totally fake it with a patterned rug. Take your pantry storage to the next level with copper-topped mason jars and ceramic canisters, and seal the deal with a beachy wall art print and blue tea kettle.
