It’s finally here, and it’s even better than we ever imagined! With modern effects, hilarious quips and some truly kick-butt gals, the very first trailer for the new Ghostbusters is just so… awesome! And what do we love best? 30 years after the original movie came out with four fellas taking on the audacious apparitions, this time the ladies are gettin’ it done and doin’ it all together.
Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy) is braving the ghostly challenges head-on with Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig), a super-smartie particle physicist who apparently isn’t afraid of getting slimed. Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon) is a badass engineer who LICKS HER RAY GUN THINGIE! Psst, don’t cross the streams. And finally, Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones) is the New York expert who will literally slap a ghost out of a friend if needed.
Oh, yeah. And Chris Hemsworth is there too, kicking in a door while wearing a fitted white t-shirt. *pause to drool*
How can you not love these ladies?!
Hitting (or haunting) theaters on July 15, we’re totally ready for some otherworldly hilarity.
