Gigi Hadid’s Gray Lipstick Look Is the New Beauty Trend That’s Taking Over
A bold lip is a timeless beauty staple. Aside from the go-to red, we’ve cycled through some daring colors in recent years — bright orange, yellow, black, deep purple, even green. This weekend, a new contender rose to the top, and we can’t look away.
Gigi Hadid stepped out in head-to-toe (or maybe more head-to-ankle) blue last week, but we don’t just mean her outfit. She matched her sweatshirt and sweatpants with a bluish gray lip that wasn’t easy to forget. The Maybelline ambassador’s eye-catching shade didn’t just offset her azure sweatsuit, but it made her baby blue eyes pop too.
Hadid wasn’t the only one going bold last week. Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel made her rounds at San Diego Comic Con sporting a shockingly similar shade. Like Hadid, she kept the rest of her beauty look simple, but opted for a shade truer to blue than the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Yolanda Foster.
The makeup artist behind Emmanuel’s look, Kelsey Deenihan, posted a snap of the actress, writing, “Because it’s COMIC CON and why not!?”
