Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Just Made It Red Carpet Official
Tonight’s Met Gala red carpet was full of surprises — see: Kate Upton’s megawatt engagement ring and Hailee Steinfeld’s budget-friendly look—and now, we can add Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik to that list, as the duo made things “Hollywood official” tonight when they walked the carpet on one another’s arms.
Walking the red carpet for the first time together at tonight’s Met Gala (she in Tommy Hilfiger), Gigi and Zayn made quite the becoming duo. We love, love, love the fact that Zayn went all out for event’s Manus x Machina: Fashion In the Age of Technology theme with his armored sleeves-on-suit look — all the better to match Gigi’s (co-designed with Tommy!) sheer intergalatic dress with coordinating knuckle armor. “We actually designed [it] during Paris fashion week in my hotel room,” she told E!. “I drew it on a notepad.” Not bad, Gig! Not bad at all!
For first timers, we think these two look like old pros. Nice job, guys!
