It’s finally here! After biding our time with Gilmore Girls monthly subscription boxes, Gilmore Girls candles and even a Gilmore Girls-inspired cookbook, not to mention enduring major hints about the reboot and glimpses from the set, we finally get to take a look at the first trailer for the new episodes. Get ready for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
Say hello once again to Lorelai and Rory as they bring us back into their lives as mother and daughter, navigating the world as a (hilarious) team. We don’t want to spoil it for you, but oh my goodness, this trailer is everything we’ve been wanting and waiting for. And it’s only a minute and a half long!
Lukes, Dragonfly Inn, the gazebo in the center of town, the house shimmering with lights — they each make an appearance while text flashes, “Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall… Seasons may change… But some things never will… Once a Gilmore, Always a Gilmore.” OMG shivers.
With Lorelai and Rory chatting about Amy Schumer, corpse flowers and water sports, it’s just like old times.
Fair warning: You’re probably gonna get weepy just seeing your fave ladies back in Stars Hollow.
