Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady (AKA the Met Gala’s newest co-chairs) have had their fair share of ups and downs, to be sure: What couple hasn’tafter eight years? Yet despite pesky divorce rumors that have swirled around them for years (which Brady attempted to shut down back in 2015), the pair seems to be doing better than ever: One need only watch this clip of Bündchen losing her mind when the Patriots won the Super Bowl for proof.
The duo shares two children, Vivian Lake (who rocked a “Brady’s Ladies” jersey alongside her momma for the big game) and Benjamin, as well as a puppy, and today, they’re celebrating all that they’ve built together for their eighth anniversary.
Taking to social media, Bündchen posted a too-cute-for-words snap of herself and her football honey as he holds her up for a dip mid-dance.
“Love being your partner in the dance of life,” she wrote. “Happy anniversary my love!”
Brady’s message was every bit as adorable: He captioned this shot of him and Bündchen sharing a laugh on their wedding day with the words, “…and you have kept me laughing ever since…Happy anniversary, love of my life!” Brady then made another sweet gesture by also typing his sentiments in Portuguese (a practice Bündchen does with her posts often as a nod to her Brazilian roots).
We don’t know about you, but we’re shipping these two right about now — HARD. Congratulations, guys! And long live true love.
