Glossier’s back at it again with a beauty product for those of us who want to master barely there makeup and skin care. Their latest offering is for everyone who forgets, hates, or just plain skips the sunscreen step before heading out the door.
After two years of research and development, the cult brand has introduced Invisible Shield ($34), a sunscreen that doesn’t have any of the things that make wearing sun protection so annoying. It isn’t greasy and doesn’t leave a white film on your skin. The fast-absorbing SPF 35 boasts a pleasant citrusy scent and a clear watergel formula that not only protects against harmful UV rays, but helps protect your skin from toxins, pollutants and free radicals (the things that destroy your skin cells and cause wrinkles and sagging).
A word of warning, though: Invisible Shield is not waterproof. We repeat: not waterproof. So if you’re heading to the beach or the pool, grab a water-resistant product instead, and save Glossier’s offering for everyday livin’.
