We’ve seen paper mache bowls before, but none nearly as luxe as these! Created by Kelli Murray, these Gold Leaf Bowls are the newest addition to our shoutout archive and we can’t wait to try creating a similar set.
Armed with balloons, newspaper, Mod Podge, and gold leaf, you can learn how to make your own luxe bowls right here. Oh, and one more key ingredient? Patience ;)
There are so many cool ways to use gold leaf, but one thing to keep in mind is that it can be a little unpredictable. You won’t always get perfectly clean lines, but that is part of the beauty of the material. We’ll be experimenting more with gold leaf here at Brit HQ, and will be sure to tell you all about what we learn.
