Made Us Look: The Prettiest Patterned Clothes We’ve Ever Seen
Oh how we love a good collaboration. Two brilliant minds coming together to form a super genius (hopefully shoppable) idea – what’s not to like about that? It’s definitely fabulous for inspirational purposes but even better for our wardrobes. Case and point: this patterntastic new line from Australian label Gorman and contemporary artist Kate Kosek.
Kosek, a Brooklyn-based designer known for busy, vibrant prints, tones nothing down for her first transition from canvas to clothing. The 18-piece collection of overlapping color, crazy lines and wild geometrics is nothing short of a straight-up visual feast. It’s safe to say we’re slightly obsessed.
If you’re not yet familiar with the Melbourne label, think of them as a kind of J. Crew/Kate Spade brain child – clean, yet playful. The line offers a jumpsuit, platform sandals, a pencil skirt, a windbreaker and so much more patterned goodness.
Our color-loving hearts want it all but, sadly, our wallets might not approve. Okay, fine, maybe a splurge is in order for our favorite piece…s.
Which piece is your favorite from this collaboration? We want to know!
