Grombré Is the Fall Hair Trend You Need to Try
When summer of 2016 first kicked off, we noticed a serious influx of celebrity hair Instagrams popping up on our feeds. Bella Hadid went pastel pink. Ashley Tisdale tried out dusty rose and Kesha went for a mermaid blue. While last winter showed a drop in rainbow-hued tresses, the warmer weather brought it back with a vengeance. And now, as we’re starting to make the transition from summer to fall (we’re just as sad about it as you are), we’re seeing ladies get creative with how they can keep rocking alternative hair color, but with a darker dimension. Case in point: grombré.
As you might be able to figure out, grombré is a combination of gray and ombré. Granny hair has been trending ever since OITNB‘s Dascha Polanco rocked the look back in 2014. But this iteration of the look demonstrates a seamless way to blend all the current hair trends into one autumn-approved style.
Just think: If you’re looking to try out a capsule wardrobe this fall, this style is basically the perfect minimalist pairing.
