Gwen Stefani’s New Hair Color Is like Nothing You’ve Seen Before
Gwen Stefani has never been afraid to rock a bold beauty look. Remember that one time she sported bubblegum blue hair and face rhinestones to the VMAs in 1998? Or how about that time she showed off a shade of electric pink hair that complimented her braces? While she’s definitely toned her look since the No Doubt days of the ’90s, she hasn’t given up on obscure beauty looks completely. Case in point: her new blue and black hair.
While at LAX airport yesterday Gwen was spotted rocking a sleek platinum bob that had been dip-dyed cobalt blue. Unlike the gradient sort of ombré we’ve come to know and love, Gwen’s hair featured a distinct split in color that was further amplified with a black line dividing the contrasting shades. Never one to forget the details, Gwen complimented her new locks with a blue and white manicure to match.
The new color looks a lot like the color block hair trend we spotted a few months back. Could this be the next generation of ombré hair? So far all signs point to yes.
