2016 is turning out to be a major year for Gwen Stefani. The legendary rock star and style icon has a new man and now also a new makeup line. Gwen has teamed up with coveted beauty brand Urban Decay on a spring line that will have makeup mavens headed for a department store ASAP. We first broke the news of this dream Gwen Stefani beauty collaboration back in September but thanks to Gwen and UD’s recent Instagram, we’re finally getting a sneak peek of the magical products these two have designed together.
Included in the collab are eight shades of super saturated lipsticks (four of which are red, because it is Gwen Stefani after all), complimentary lip liners, a customizable blush palette and a brow box to supplement the 15-shade eye palette that launched last year. As an added cherry on top of the cake, all products are named after No Doubt songs and albums.
Gwen tells Allure, “I went through all my makeup and was like, OK, what are my must-haves? Not, like, fashion-shoot-type stuff, but just what I’m legitimately wearing every day,” she says. “There’s not one color in the collection that isn’t true to who I am. I didn’t consider anyone else—it was really about what I needed.” If you’re ready to take your beauty game up a notch in 2016, mark your calendars because the UD x Gwen Stefani Collection drops on January 12.
