Your round brushes will never look so good.
This Hair Brush Cleaner Is Weird AF but SO Necessary

Lots of us brush our hair every single day by habit. At this point, I don’t even think about the act of detangling my locks every morning; it’s just something I do, like brushing my teeth. That said, about once a month, I look at my hair brush and notice that it’s covered in a thick, tangled, mess of dry-shampoo-soaked strands. I am totally grossed out by this and am left with no option but to use my fingers to dig in and clean it out. Did I mention how icky this is?!
I didn’t even know that cleaners existed until a couple months ago when I stumbled upon the Sephora Collection Brush Meets Comb Hair Brush Cleaner ($10). It’s one of those products you never knew you needed, but once you start using it, you’ll never go back to dirtying up your digits again. It looks like a really bizarre comb — or a head massager, TBH — but it gets the job done. Here’s why I’m obsessed AF with this strange but useful device.
How does it work? This cleaner acts sort of like a rake for your hair tool. A bunch of super thin, flexible teeth grab the strands and pull them free from the bristles. Just move it through your brush and prepare to be amazed (and repulsed, in a good way) at how much gunk it removes.
Does it work on all types of brushes? The flexibility of the steel grabbers makes it versatile enough to glide through everything from a teasing comb to a paddle brush to a round brush (which are notoriously hard to clean).
Will it damage the hair brush? It’s all about the teeth, y’all. There are tough enough to grab every single strand of hair trapped in your brush, but it’s gentle enough to not scratch, scrape, or damage the tool you’re de-gunking.
