How to Make These Insanely Cute Cyclops Cupcakes for Halloween

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: HALLOWEEN! Last year, we showed you how to scare up some fun with our Spooky Monster Cupcakes. This year, we wanted to add a cyclops to the mix! The best part? You only need a few ingredients to make these one-eyed monsters. Read on to see how we made ’em!

Ingredients:

– 1 box devil’s food cake mix

– 1 1/2 cups water

– 1/2 cup vegetable oil

– 3 eggs

– 1 12-oz container fluffy white frosting

– York Peppermint Patties

– red sparkle gel

– candy eyeballs

– bones sprinkles

– chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, water, oil and eggs. Divide the batter among 24 cupcake liners. Bake 18 minutes. Let cool. Frost each cupcake with fluffy white frosting.

2. Use red sparkle gel to draw a smile on a peppermint patty. Then, use white frosting to adhere one candy eyeball above the smile. Stick two bone sprinkles on the smile.

3. Place your cyclops on top of your cupcake. Add two chocolate chips for ears. Enjoy!
