Make These Loaded Peanut Butter Brownies for Halloween
Summer is over, and we’ve got HALLOWEEN on the brain here at Brit + Co! Well, Halloween candy, to be exact ;) If you’re craving something sweet, you’ve come to the right place. We’re showing you how to make Loaded Peanut Butter Brownies. These chocolate treats are packed with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups AND Reese’s Pieces. Do we have your attention yet? Ingredients:
– 3 sticks butter, softened
– 10 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
– 2 cups granulated sugar
– 4 eggs
– 1 tablespoon vanilla
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
– Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
– 2 cups powdered sugar
– 1/2 cup whole milk
– orange food coloring
– Reese’s Pieces
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13 baking pan and line with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine 2 sticks melted butter with chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Add 2 cups sugar, 4 eggs and vanilla. Whisk together. Fold in the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder.
2. Spread half of the brownie batter in the baking dish. Layer Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups over the batter. Top with remaining brownie batter and smooth. Bake 40-45 minutes. Cool completely.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together 1 stick softened butter, powdered sugar, milk and orange food coloring. Evenly spread the frosting over the cooled brownies. Top with Reese’s Pieces. Refrigerate brownies for 45-60 minutes.
4. Cut into squares and enjoy!
