This Han Solo Halloween Costume Is Made for ‘Star Wars’ Fans

Star Wars fans, this costume (inspired by Solo: A Star Wars Story) is for you. With a couple of quick online finds and some easily thrifted threads, achieving that fresh-from-saving-the-galaxy Han Solo look is a cinch. Scroll below to see how to get it done.

Start off with your Solo style basics. We thrifted black pants and a vest and picked up this utility belt ($18), boot covers ($12), and a blaster ($40). Then, put your rebel fighting, er, crafting skills to the test by hot-gluing red triangle fabric squares up the side of each pant leg. For a final touch, give your faux weapon a quick coat of spray paint for a more authentic look.

Of course, a brash attitude to complement your new look is a MUST to totally nail the Han Solo vibe. Even your BFF Chewbacca will approve.

Now off you go! It’s time to save the galaxy — or at least become the life of the Halloween party.
