Hanky Panky’s New Nursing Bralettes Are as Pretty as They Are Practical
There are a lot of beautiful things about breastfeeding but historically, nursing bras have not been one of them. Luckily, the post-pregnancy intimates category has come a long way. And now, just in time to celebrate the legalization of public breastfeeding in all 50 states (um, finally), lingerie megabrand Hanky Panky has released its first nursing bralette. Because being a new mom is hard enough without having to wear un-cute underthings.
Hanky Panky’s nursing bralettes come in two styles: the lace-trimmed Organically Grown Cotton Nursing Bralette ($82) and the Signature Lace Cotton-Lined Nursing Bralette ($82). Available in black or chai, both styles retail for under $100 and are lined with organically grown Supima cotton that feels good against your skin. For gentle support, the bralettes feature interior sling construction and of course, each has easy-access plastic nursing clips at the straps.
What we might love most about the Hanky Panky nursing bralettes is how subtly sexy they are, in addition to being completely functional. The offerings for breastfeeding mamas can vary from glorified sports bra-like to granny chic — minus the “chic” part. Hanky Panky’s, on the other hand, are delicate, feminine and pretty. And as we all know: A pretty bra can change how you feel about yourself and your body. When you’re a new mom, a little of that goes a heck of a long way.
