Harry Styles Kisses James Corden in Star-Studded Christmas Carpool Karaoke
The Christmas spirit is taking over! On Monday night, Late Late Show host James Corden brought back several of his Carpool Karaoke guests from the past year for a festive rendition of “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” and Harry Styles sealed his sing-along with a kiss for the host.
After belting out the Christmas classic with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Pink, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus, Sam Smith, and Kelly Clarkson, Corden was joined by the former One Direction member. Toward the end of their time together, Corden turned to Styles with a heartfelt, “Happy Christmas, Harold.” The “Sign of the Times” singer sat silent at first, then leaned in to give the CBS host a kiss on the lips.
“Wow! I did not expect that for Christmas!” Corden said, smiling, before the friends shared a laugh over their affectionate moment.
It was a fun turning of the tables for Corden, who has been known to pull off surprises of his own on the show. Most recently, he arranged for Kelly Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, to have an impromptu date night away from the kids. The catch, of course, was that it had to take place in the backseat of his car during a Karaoke ride.
