When we hear the phrase “celebrity wedding,” visions of exotic destinations, lavish details and super expensive dresses tend to come to mind. One glance at Sophie Vergara’s recent nuptials is enough to drive that point home. However, sometimes those celebs are full of surprises. Case in point: Hayley Williams’ ultra low-key wedding ceremony that took place this past weekend.

The 27-year-old Paramore singer tied the knot with New Found Glory’s guitarist Chad Gilbert on Saturday at the Franklin Theater in Nashville. After saying “I do” in front of 50 of their closest friends and family, the duo headed over to Nashville institution Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant for the reception.

While neither Hayley nor Chad have yet to share a celebratory wedding snap, Chad’s record label, Hopeless Records, did give a shout out to the newlyweds by sharing this adorable photo of the two leaving their reception.

From what we’ve seen on Twitter, it appears as though Hayley wore a white chiffon wedding dress during the actual ceremony, but then changed into an amazing graphic tee that spells out her new husband’s name and a striped white skirt for the reception. To top off the low-key look, Hayley’s hair was pulled up into an effortless updo.

After taking that amazing alternative ensemble in, we also noticed a whole bunch of other fun details included in Hayley and Chad’s wedding. Their cake stand was a bucket turned upside down. There were donuts that spelled out messages like “you’re so punk rock” and “I like your butt” and their cake topper was a tiny version of the main characters from the cult classic flick TheFifth Element.

Engaged celebs, take note: This is one A-list wedding that’s going to be hard to beat.
