1. The Devil Wears Prada

Our love for The Devil Wears Prada will never end, especially since we know a sequel is in the works! We know you don't need a refresher, but let's take a walk down memory lane.

Andrea Sachs is fresh out of college and in search of her dream job, but finds herself half-heartedly accepting an interview at Runway Magazine. To her surprise, she's hired as Miranda Priestly's junior assistant with the promise that she'll receive a recommendation to anywhere she wants to work after a year.

What happens next is full of hilarious, heartbreaking, and eye-opening moments that change Andrea's life forever.

2. Avatar: The Way of Water

The thought of this iconic film still brings tears to our eyes. It follows our favorite Na'vi family as they're forced to leave their home, and though they find refuge with Metkayina clan, danger closes in around them. After several devastating losses, the Na'vi have to find a way to push on.

3. Barbie

Barbie gave us stellar performances from Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, and more, but it was Greta Gerwig whose really does deserve all the awards. If you still haven't seen it (OMG, what), then your homework this weekend is to watch it on HBO Max.

It features the signature Barbie songs, outfits, and the dream house we love, but we get to understand the deeper meaning behind what the doll is supposed to represent when she starts questioning her existence. Linked to the feelings of her prior owner and her daughter, Barbie begins realizing that there's more to living embodying a perfect image.

4. Dune

Did we originally watch this just because Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya are in it? The answer is YES, but the Dune franchise quickly cemented its way into the hearts of thousands with it's science fiction plot.

Chalamet stars as Paul, the rightful heir of House Atreides as he embarks on a dangerous mission to not only understand the nature of his dreams, but fulfill his father's wish for bring long-lasting peace instead of war. Alongside his mother, he encounters dangerous beings who are enemies to House Atreides and eventually joins forces with the Fremen.

5. The Dark Knight

Christian Bale gloriously embodied every aspect of Batman, but we saw him take a darker turn in The Dark Knight. It was the first time we expanded our definition of protagonists and antagonists because we got to see both make morally gray decisions that impacted everyone.

Up until now, Batman's faced your typical movie villains from crooked cops to those in the Mafia. But no one's challenged him more than The Joke (the late great Heath Ledger). For the first time, Batman goes toe-to-toe with a villain who can see beyond his wealth, access to technology, and fancy 'superhero' suit.

If you've seen The Dark Knight Rises, you know how much this affected Batman.
