Heidi Klum’s Electric Blue Mascara Is All the Beauty Inspo You’ll Need This Spring
If you’ve seen, well, any of Heidi Klum’s Halloween costumes, you know the German-born model isn’t afraid to take a risk when it comes to her look. Her latest beauty gamble paid off in a big way. The America’s Got Talent judge is our inspo for spring beauty after kicking her basic black mascara to the curb in favor of the prettiest colored mascara.
We already knew that bright lashes were having a serious moment, but any hesitations we had have all but vanished since the runway strutter’s glam squad showed us just how wearable the look could be.
Klum and her longtime makeup artist, Linda Hay, both shared a mesmerizing time-lapse video on their Instagram pages of the model in the makeup chair before AGT auditions over the weekend. Save for a basic contour and a pretty pink lip, it was *all* about those beautiful blue lashes.
Hay created the look by adding a neutral base shadow, then lining her eyes in three different shades of black, green and blue, before curling her lashes and adding a lash primer. She topped the look off with several coats of Yves Saint Laurent’s Vinyl Couture Mascara ($29) in I’m the Trouble, a punchy cobalt blue.
The resulting look made for some of prettiest peepers we’ve ever seen! Add in a disco-inspired sparkly silver dress, statement silver earrings, and a pulled back pony, and Klum was set for a serious red carpet moment.
